About ‘bij elkaar’ by Ronald Hofmeester

In de bocht van de vestinggracht van Muiden dobbert een paartje futen. Door de wind en de stroming drijven ze telkens uit elkaar maar iedere keer peddelen ze terug naar de overhangende wilg langs de kant. Hoewel de zon nog niet zolang onder is, is het behoorlijk donker. In de reflectie van het licht van een straatlantaarn is af en toe een silhouette te zien. Eén moment zijn ze zo dicht bij elkaar dat het licht beide silhouetten vangt.
Bij de foto hoort het volgende gedicht:

dobberend op het water
langzaam heen en weer
de wind en de stroming
verplaatsen je keer op keer

heerlijk zo te drijven
maar om bij elkaar te blijven
peddel je iedere keer vlug
weer naar de ander terug
