The boar deer (Axis porcinus) is a deer from the subfamily Cervinae.
The animal is 100-130 cm long, 60-80 cm high, stands relatively low on its legs and weighs between 25 and 50 kg. The body is grey-brown to ochre brown or sand-coloured, the limbs lighter. The belly's a little darker. The tail is short and brown at the top and white at the bottom. The ears are big and round.
