About the artwork

The photograph shows a young Dunnock, still a chick, which has either fallen out of the nest or has just left the nest to fledge. It seems helpless, lonely and abandoned, but the adults are presumably foraging not far away and will continue to look after their offspring. Dunnocks are one of the relatively common songbird species native to our country. Yet they are generally not very well known, which is certainly due to their rather secretive way of life but also to their rather inconspicuous plumage markings. The photograph captivates with its richness of detail, clear, natural colours, a successful composition and of course the motif, which immediately appeals to the viewer's protective instincts.

The following applies: Young birds, even if they seem so helpless, should best be left where they can be found or, at the very most, placed in a nearby bush where chicks and adult birds are safe from cars and bicycles, but also cats and dogs.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
