About the artwork

Chihuahua cross between a chihuahua longhair and a chihuahua shorthair.
Created in adobe illustrator. This is Kim's dog.

The Chihuahua is a small but striking breed of dog known as the smallest in the world. Despite its modest size, this dog has a big personality and exudes confidence and liveliness. Chihuahuas have a compact and elegant build with a characteristic apple-shaped head, large, expressive eyes and erect ears that always seem alert. They usually weigh no more than 3 kilograms and have a shoulder height of 15 to 23 centimetres. The coat can be short or long, with a wide range of colours and patterns, such as black, white, cream, chocolate, gold or a combination thereof. This breed is energetic and devoted to its owner, often with a strong protective instinct that does not match its size. They are highly alert and can react fiercely to strangers or unexpected noises, making them surprisingly good watchdogs. Chihuahuas are sensitive and affectionate and have a deep need for human companionship, which can sometimes make them a bit clingy. Although they are small, they have a great need for attention and socialisation to avoid becoming overly territorial or anxious. Due to their charming personality, small size and lively nature, they are loved worldwide as companion animals.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
