About "dried flowers in a Kintsugi vase"

About the artwork

Once there was a vase, a beautiful specimen that was once whole but became broken. Instead of being thrown away, the vase was lovingly restored using the ancient Japanese craft called kintsugi, filling the breaks with gold lacquer.

The vase found its way to a cosy home where it was filled with dried flowers. These flowers had once been vibrant and colourful, but now that they had dried, they had found a new form of beauty. Each flower told a story of impermanence and resilience.

Together, the dried flowers and the kintsugi vase formed a beautiful tableau, a celebration of imperfection and the beauty that comes from it. They were admired by all who understood their story, and served as a reminder that even brokenness and change can produce something valuable.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
