The droplets subtly reflect the light, creating a sparkling effect. In the background, the image fades into abstraction, with an abundance of bokeh light spots that give the scene a dreamy atmosphere. These light circles vary in size and with a blue-purple colour, adding depth and dynamism to the picture, while the sharp details of the feather remain central. The contrast between the bright feather and the soft background makes the shot both soothing and enchanting.
Leo takes nature photos, wanders through his hometown Rotterdam and also likes to capture images by means of macro-photography. In addition, Leo is developing more and more into abstract and impressionistic images, e.g. by using longer shutter speeds in combination with motion blur.
