I picked these snowdrops in my garden, there is a whole field under a tree and they are one of the first spring bloomers.
The snowdrop symbolizes hope, (re)awakening and spring anticipation.
The scientific name Galanthus nivalis is derived from the Greek words "gala," meaning milk, and "anthos," meaning flower; nivalis (Latin) means snow.
I picked two of them and floated them on the water in my pond in the shape of a heart.
You can see the tree under which they grew reflected in the water.
Then I edited the photo in a photo app to create a lovely, dreamy image.
Nice of you to check out my work.
I like to photograph everything I come across and find interesting. I often edit my photos afterwards with other materials until a new image emerges.
