About the artwork

On the wall of a maritime-decorated living room hung a beautiful picture of a monkfish. The monkfish, also known as the anglerfish, was depicted in all its strange and fascinating glory. Its bizarre-looking body and the famous bioluminescent 'rod' dangling from its forehead were perfectly captured.

This photo had special meaning for the residents. It had been taken during a diving adventure in a distant ocean, where they had seen this wondrous, yet slightly creepy fish for the first time. The encounter with the monkfish had left them deeply impressed and had left a lasting impression on them.

Every time they looked at the picture, they were reminded of the mysteries of the deep ocean and the extraordinary diversity of marine life. It reminded them that there were still undiscovered treasures in the world, ready to be discovered.

The picture of the monkfish on the wall was not just a decorative piece; it was a window to adventure, wonder and the wonders of the underwater world. It inspired them to remain curious and embrace the beauty of nature in all its forms.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
