My name is Johan van der Linde, living in the characteristic town of Appingedam in the province of Groningen, from here I practice my "hobby" photography which got out of hand. I have been photographing since the beginning of 2000, in the beginning mainly with disposable cameras to take nice snapshots, but because this kept me interested I switched to a real camera. My first serious camera was a canon eos 400d, with which I mainly took pictures of my growing children. After that I switched to an eos 40d and through various models of SLR cameras I now work with a full frame system camera. My favourite subjects to photograph are landscapes and wooded areas, and I also sometimes take macro photos in nature. But besides these branches of photography, I also make excursions to sports photography and the occasional portrait.
