About ‘pale morning star’ by Jo Van Herck

A macro shot of the fluff of a morning star. The focus is on the heart of the flower, where all the fluff comes together.

The depth of field is very small, so a lot of blur is deliberately added to the photo. By leaving much out of focus, the photo becomes more abstract and the eye is drawn to the heart of the flower.
