I enjoy being a coastal dweller. I was born at the foot of the dunes of Schoorl and raised 100 meters from the dike in Den Helder. Now I live and work in one of the most beautiful coastal villages in the Netherlands; Callantsoog. Because of my work as a forester I have been in polders, dikes and dunes in the vicinity of the sea at all times of the day.
