Dreaming away in the warm mysterious autumn colours of a currant tree, or do I see a tulip in the background.
I am always looking for an exciting picture, what am I actually looking at. I prefer to shoot with a low aperture and with my macro lens. On the cutting edge, what can or cannot be done. Be surprised :)
The currant tree / Amelanchier lamarckii ( that name alone ) is one of my favourite shrubs/trees. In March April, it blooms brilliantly with creamy white flowers. Then it sprouts fragile leaves with an orange salmon glow. This is even more beautiful when the sun shines through. If you have seen this once in spring you will never forget it.
It is a lovely open airy shrub, and then in autumn you get to see those lovely warm autumn hues. I say plant one in your garden, and be surprised :)
