Nothing lives forever. Everything that blooms and bears fruit will sooner or later wither and die. The colours of the flowers, the freshness of the fruit, the bright green of the leaves will disappear and give way to shades of grey and brown. The sharp forms that stand up vigorously lose their strength and slowly bend until they become part of the earth again. Dust thou art and to dust thou shalt return. They don't have a very long life like an oak, but once the bunches are harvested, the bright green banana tree with its big broad leaves soon ends. But in its place still comes something that has its own beauty. an abstract work of art in greys and browns in shapes that by hanging indicate a slow movement downwards.
