Little Planets on canvas, poster, wallpaper and ArtFrame by Frans Blok - photos, art and other wall decoration
“Little planets”, that is a name that is often used for the spherical panoramas in this album. They were created by taking about fifteen photos in a full 360 degree circle around a point. I forged them together in Photoshop and then deformed them into a sphere. A variant are the tubular panoramas, which, rather than planets, are reminiscent of science fiction-like inner worlds.
Besides the fact that they are simply special, often also funny, images, those spherical and tubular panoramas, they also have a special characteristic: they capture a place in one image with a great expressiveness, something that cannot be done with the limited angle of an ordinary photo.
