Moïse Kisling was a significant Polish-French painter of the 20th century, known for his contributions to Cubism, Fauvism, and the early modern Parisian art scene. Born in 1891 in Krakow, Poland, Kisling moved to Paris in 1910, where he quickly became part of the artistic avant-garde. His works are characterized by vibrant colors, bold brushstrokes, and emotional expressiveness. Kisling painted portraits, landscapes, and still lifes, and was particularly appreciated for his elegant depictions of women and nudes.
