PORTRAITS
In this album, you will find my artworks featuring human portraits. These portraits are built up from various layers, combining imagery, photography, and painting, that are digitally manipulated to give each face its own unique character. Most portraits begin with a charcoal or pencil drawing, while others start with a painted base. Adding and manipulating layers digitally creates a look that is both textured and translucent. The combination of faces, color, texture, and found imagery gives each portrait a story of its own.
