Palace Park Het Loo
Palace Park: a royal forest The Palace Park is located next to Het Loo Palace and used to be a place to relax for members of the royal family and their guests. It is a large area, 650 hectares. You will find forest, heathland, ponds, a deer park and various other sights. The fact that the Oranjes used to spend a large part of their time here is clearly reflected in the Park. You will regularly come across hidden benches, you can walk along the Koningslaan, bridges have been built over sprengen and there are buildings that used to (and sometimes still do) have a function for the royal family. You feel everything that it is not just a forest, but a royal forest.
