Solagraphy on canvas, poster, wallpaper and ArtFrame by Daniel Laan

Solagraphy is a form of pinhole photography in which cans are often fitted with a tiny pinhole and loaded with photographic paper. The cans are left in one location for an extended period, sometimes for months or even years, in the hope of capturing the trails of sunlight burned into the paper. The result is scanned in the dark and then processed through interpretation. These are the most abstract, intriguing and “analogue” images in my collection.
