The Vaser Valley Railroad in Romania on canvas, poster, wallpaper and ArtFrame by Hans Brinkel

Since 1932, the Vaser Valley railway in Romania, also known under the name "Wassertalbahn" almost daily use. Six days a week driving the steam trains of wagons here through the valleys to transport timber to the sawmill. The Vaser Valley Railway is the only railway in Europe that is still used for timber production and transport. In 2011, I visited the area for a week to set out here all aspects of daily life with my camera. The photos in this album tell the history of friendly and hard-working lumberjacks among some who live here and work in the Carpathian Mountains, heavy and difficult circumstances. Thank you for your time and attention and have fun with your purchase. Best regards, Hans Brinkel, freelance photographer p.s apologize for any translation errors.
