Hi, I'm Heather Poppelliers. I am a big visual thinker. I can often tell a story better through images than through words. Besides photography, I have dozens of other hobbies, including editing, travelling and reading.
I have been photographing since I was 11 years old with a small mini camera I got from my parents. This camera had one of those lovely little sliders where you would slide it and then it would turn up. A whole new world of pixels opened up to me. 16 years later, I switched to mostly analogue. I love shooting -into the moment- and getting away from the perfectionist picture. Life is not perfect and why portray it that way?
An ultimate dream of mine at the moment is to set up a retreat centre in, say, Germany or Sweden and host people there to disconnect from (social) technology and reconnect with nature and the people around them.
