About the artist: Michel (Michael Verhülsdonk) My work is driven by a lifelong passion for the drawn line. Having originally come from the world of classical animated film, I now particularly appreciate the slower pace and the vibrant texture of traditional media. Each of my designs is created as a hand-painted original in my studio, using delicate watercolours and precise coloured pencils. My artistic focus lies on combining aesthetics, enjoyment and a subtle touch of humour. Under the series title ‘Art For Vinothek’, I create modern, stylish and slightly sensual works of art that bridge the gap between a sophisticated lifestyle and a humorous zest for life. My work is aimed at connoisseurs seeking something special – whether for the home kitchen, a modern wine cellar or professional catering establishments and wine shops.
