This digital artwork captures a moment of human proximity in an image that feels at once playful and layered. The artist chooses a bright, almost unfussy background of deep blue, which contrasts with the soft, grey-green tones of the hair. The blue sucks the gaze in, as if the figure steps forward from a flat, infinite space to be seen.

The woman's face is delineated with solid, black contours. These lines are not just boundaries, but seem to be traces of a life story: every crease, every wrinkle testifies to time, experience, memory. The glasses do not rest passively, but become a powerful element in the composition. It cuts through the face and emphasises the eyes, which betray a lively alertness despite their simplicity and stylisation.
