A bright yellow water taxi speeds across the calm waters of Rotterdam harbor, leaving a foamy wake as it passes the massive, imposing hull of a docked cruise ship. The iconic ship, with its towering structure and multiple decks, is a stark contrast to the nimble agility of the smaller water taxi.
Luc de Zeeuw can look back on many decades of experience as an image-maker. As a photographer, he once trained at the school of photography. However, he never became a professional photographer. He did, however, intermittently photograph a lot. In his working life, he was a college lecturer/researcher in technical computer science. From his ICT background skilled in digital image processing and now in generative artificial intelligence.
In Luc's portfolio, we find international photography contributions to books, exhibitions and travel information leaflets. Besides 'Work on the Wall', he also photographs for Adobe, Getty Images en ShutterStock. Further once nominated by National Geographic, he has contributed to two of their annual tear-off calendars.
On Flickr, Luc presents himself mainly as a travel photographer. But other work can also be found there. See the attached links. The counter now stands at over 27000 photos. If you come across a photo there that you would like to see on your wall, Luc is happy to make it available for you on 'Work on the Wall' upon request.
