About the artwork

Hidden in the Norwegian landscape awaits Gygrestolen, an impressive natural phenomenon that opens up like a balcony above the green valley. This striking rock formation, created by centuries of erosion, seems almost mystical. However, the adventure begins much earlier, with a hike that is as unforgettable as the view itself.

The route takes you through a varied landscape: winding paths along rocks, slippery tree roots, and soft stretches of dirt track alternate. It's a physical challenge, but each step brings you closer to the reward. As you ascend, the scenery changes: dense forests give way to open stretches where fresh Norwegian air and the sound of birdsong accompany you.

Arriving at the top, you feel the satisfaction. From the top of Gygrestolen, a panorama of rolling hills, shimmering lakes and deep valleys unfolds. The formation itself is a unique feat of nature, a place where you feel small amid the grandeur around you.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
