A small green rowing boat lies on the quiet shore of Lake Hopfensee, lashed to the old wooden jetty as if it doesn't want to leave, not now, not at this moment. Storm clouds tower over the water, dramatic and full of weight, as if they were holding their breath. The setting sun - just a hint of light behind the grey veil - makes the sky glow, a last, tender rebellion against the approaching storm.
The surface of the water reflects the dark clouds, restless but still calm. It is an image of stillness before the storm, a moment frozen in tension. The green boat, shining almost defiantly in this grey world, becomes a symbol of hope, of lingering, of holding on in troubled times.
In the background, the contours of the Allgäu mountains emerge, mysterious and eternal, as if they have seen many storms come and go. The landscape seems enraptured, almost timeless, as if the world has stopped for a moment to listen - to the cracking of the footbridge, the whisper of the wind, the distant rumble of thunder.
A place that tells stories - of the weather, of waiting, of letting go.
