A colourful collage this is, done in dark tones, composed of different photos of different trunks of trees.
Trees are fascinating! They are powerful parts of nature. They are usually strongly rooted in the ground and have a robust appearance. As far as I am concerned, they are beautiful in all seasons of the year. In spring with fresh green leaves, in summer in full leaf, in autumn with beautifully coloured leaves and even in winter when all the leaves have fallen. Because it is precisely in winter that you can see how beautiful the silhouette of the tree is, and when the tree is bare it radiates even more power.
And all the elements of a tree are fascinating and inspiring. The leaves, the branches, the trunk and certainly the bark.
All different trees have a different structure on the trunk and in each tree the bark and its pattern is different. I photographed the bark of different types of trees in spring. Especially in spring because that is when the mosses on the bark come back to life and different structures, patterns and colours can be discovered.
The collage was not made randomly, a pattern was created in the shape of a leaf. A leaf shape suits the photographed subject perfectly!
