The flower of the clematis with yellow, lilac and white against a white background, very soft warm colours that stand out particularly well against the white background. This clematis was photographed against the sun, so you actually look through the leaf, the petal, and the colours become a flowing whole with the white of the petal and that white blends into the white of the background. By taking the photo at a slight angle, the core of the flower is visible, the yellow stamens providing a small yet striking contrast to the soft colours of the drawing in the petals.
A beautiful simple common flower, but now depicted in a way we never really see. Light, calm, colourful but certainly not overpowering.
Because of the way of photographing, the colour combination, it seems to have become an abstract work of art rather than a photograph. This picture brings a bit of summer and spring into your home.
TIP:
This photo can also be used as a diptych, see the other photo of this clematis further on in the shop. Tip with that: Hang them just next to each other, a few centimetres apart against a light wall. The flowers then point at each other and create a calm effect on an already calm wall.
