"A piece of a natural fluffy bulb: Close-up" is a photo of a small piece of a large fluffy bulb of a Tragopogon (in the Netherlands this plant is also called "Morgenster").
This plant is very similar to an ordinary dandelion. When the flower has finished flowering, it turns into a fuzz ball, where each fuzz contains a seed. This allows the wind to easily disperse the seeds.
For the settings of my camera, when taking this photo I chose a small depth of field, if you zoom in on the photo you can see this clearly. The focus of the photo is on the heart of the fluff which is roughly in the centre of the work. From that point, the sharpness gradually decreases rapidly towards the front and back. This creates a dreamy atmosphere in the photo and a sense of depth.
This work has mainly brown, woody colours, beige, cream and dark brown.
This work can hang beautifully, for example, in the Waiting Room, bedroom, study or hallway!
