With the sun at its back, a carpet of woodland hyacinths unfolds, colouring the forest in a sea of purple. The long shadows of the stately beech trunks draw lines across the flowers, leading the eye deeper into the forest. The interplay of light, colour and repetition creates an inviting and almost magical depth in the landscape.
