I took this photo on Het Cyriasische Veld near Harderwijk in the Veluwe, it is a small heathland along Provincialeweg N302. This small heathland is owned by Natuurmonumenten. The heather bush that you see flowering is one of the first heather bushes to bloom. Because I used a telephoto lens, this photo looks more like a close-up than a landscape photo. When I took this photo, it was sunny summer weather with cloud cover. The heather bush in the photo was one of the few bushes that was fully flowering when I took this picture. Unfortunately, there is also grass among the heather as you can see in this photo.
