I took this picture of a sand drift on the Beekhuizerzand near Harderwijk. When I took the picture it was winter, the little bit of snow that was lying there melted because of the sun. On the part where I stood grew grass and heather that is grazed by sheep in the summer. I have chosen to keep the horizon low in order to emphasize the Dutch sky of clouds.
