"A seagull enjoys the serene calm on the beach at Cadzand" is a photograph of a young seagull, with beautiful feathers, that seems to be looking out to sea. The simple and calm atmosphere, along with the soft pastel colours of the sea and beach, give the image a serene calm.
In the background of this photo, you can see a row of breakwaters disappearing into the white foaming waves washing ashore.
This photo was taken on the beach at Cadzand, a town in Zeeland (Netherlands).
The gull has a beautiful beige-grey mark on its wings. Below the gull, you can see its reflection in the small layer of water that lies on the beach. The gull itself is just standing with its legs in the water, just behind the small white layer of foam.
Because I chose a small depth of field when taking this picture, which is on the gull, the gull is sharp and the background and foreground gradually fade away. If you zoom in on the photo, you can see this clearly.
This photo could, for example, hang beautifully as wallpaper in a holiday cottage, in a living room or in a bedroom!
