Hanseatic city Deventer is a Dutch city in the province of Overijssel located on the river IJssel. Deventer in the Middle Ages was part of the Hanseatic League, an important North German trading network. Deventer is one of the oldest cities in the Netherlands. The Lebuïnus church, shown here in the picture, is a Gothic hall church and was built between 1450 and 1525.
