I took this photo on the Ermelosche Heide in the Veluwe. As you can see, the heath was not really a beautiful purple when I took this photo, it was also cloudy. I used a grey gradient filter so you can see the texture in the cloudy sky.As you can see, there are also some patches of grass between the purple flowering heather. The trees that you can see in the distance are mainly oak trees, there are a few other deciduous species among them that also do well on the Veluwe sand.
