This abandoned dining area gives the impression that time stood still here decades ago. The room is flooded with a warm, golden light that shimmers through the yellowed curtains. Two windows allow a view of the greenery outside, as if nature has slowly invaded the room, while the once vibrant walls and furniture now appear quiet and deserted. The heavy, old dining table in the centre of the room is covered with a slightly faded tablecloth, and above it hangs a worn lamp that barely leans over the table, as if it wanted to watch over the room itself.
Every corner of the room is covered in the patina of time - the furniture, once a proud witness to feasting and socialising, is now marked by dust and decay. There are a few remaining objects on the shelves, as if the residents had left them behind in a hurry. The old wooden cupboards and the plain carpet on the floor bear witness to the modesty of the life that once took place here. You can almost imagine the smell of freshly prepared food filling the room and people sitting round the table. Now, however, everything is silent and the furniture creaks under the weight of time.
This room tells of days gone by, of lost moments and the slow reconquest by nature. The yellowed curtains, the weathered surfaces and the soft light create an atmosphere of melancholy and mystery. Anyone entering this room can hear the quiet narrative of a life that has long since disappeared.
