About "Abstract Universes"

About the artwork

What happens when you push the boundaries of the visible? This image exposes a world normally hidden. Dissolving elements in a mixture of alcohol and water, and letting it flow out on a glass plate, created crystal structures that tell their own unique story.

Using a light box and polarisation filters, colours that normally escape the eye became visible. Thanks to macro lenses and intermediate rings, the whole thing was dramatically magnified, bringing out every detail in breathtaking detail. The result is reminiscent of a fragment from the cosmos, as if stardust and crystals have begun a dance.

The surreal atmosphere invites interpretation: is it a microscopic view of a crystal landscape, or a glimpse of a distant galaxy? Maybe it's both at the same time. This wall decoration makes you discover something new every time, a reminder that beauty is sometimes hidden in the smallest details.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
