"Abstract: Warm brown tones of spices through drops" is a macro photograph in which spices (such as cloves and star anise) were photographed through water with oil. By using mix and glass, textures can be seen. The photo was then made more abstract by removing all the small blemishes.
This work has a warm feel and reminds me of a warm sunny autumn day, this is because of the brown tones (including beige and taupe).
In the circles (but also around them), the line patterns of the spices are enlarged in some parts. As an example, look at the largest circle. There you can see the lines abstractly rendered from a star anise moving underneath. In the small circle at the top right of the large circle, the star anise is even more recognisable. You can also see the ripples of the liquids. All these lines and different shades of brown create an abstract picture that radiates warmth!
This work could, for example, hang beautifully as decoration in the bedroom, study, kitchen or of course just above the sofa!
