This photo shows an extraordinary spectacle of several curved lines crossing each other to form an abstract pattern of light and shadow. There are different colours in this picture, but they are mostly natural colours. Soft colours in orange-brown, green and blue. In the centre of the photo, a sharp structure can be seen. This texture comes from the material used for this photo.
I often find my inspiration in objects we all have at home. Ordinary utensils that each have their own shape, texture, pattern and colour.
Sometimes the whole object is interesting for a photograph, sometimes a detail of the object inspires me to create a work of art.
The object used here is an old metal object from the kitchen. An object with a beautiful metallic sheen. This shine reflects beautifully with the lighting used here in various natural tones.
By taking two photos of the metal object from a different angle, this unusual and abstract line pattern was created. Beautiful soft-coloured lines that cross curved each other to form a special stripe pattern. Light and shadow emphasise the curved lines, further enhancing the abstract pattern.
I see making art as a creative process.
The starting point of this process for me is always a photo or a painting of my own. Every work of art on this site is therefore based on a self-made photo or painting.
