These soft pastel shades in romantic orange and pink are a feast for the eyes!
You can see an abstract pattern of curved lines that cross each other at various points to form a special pattern. A pattern that shows a diamond shape in the middle and from which all the other lines seem to emerge. The pattern seems symmetrical but in many ways it is not. And that is the beauty of this image. Because this pattern was created entirely with my camera, the pattern is not tight, but playful and dynamic.
Creating, often abstract, pictures with my camera is one of the most fun things for me to do. It is a super fun challenge.
I usually find my inspiration in ordinary things around us. Ordinary things that can be found in most people's homes. Ordinary things that are usually not so photogenic but all have their own structure, shape, colour or pattern. And these things are then the ultimate inspiration for me.
This softly coloured artwork consists of an amalgamation of several photos. Photos taken using a simple utensil from my kitchen.
The lighting used in these photos reflects beautifully on the object used. This created this particular and abstract pattern of curved light stripes.
These curved lines in soft shades of orange and pink are a haven of peace in your home and a unique work of art for your wall!
