A beautiful and mysterious abstract pattern of various round shapes and curved lines. It is fascinating to look at and even almost hypnotic.
What inspires me when making photographs are materials but also, for example, utensils or garbage that we all have in the house or throw away. These objects all have their own structure, shape and color. The art is to make a nice photograph of it.
I created this abstract pattern by mixing up three photos. For each photo I held the camera in a different position so that the round shapes and lines are mixed together. This created a particularly abstract and mysterious pattern.
The photographic technique used is multiple exposure; I like to use this because there are so many creative possibilities with it.
As a 'photo model' I used a metal plate with a number of round holes in it. So this metal plate is actually waste of something but still perfectly usable for me to photograph.
The pattern that emerged is organized. In the middle of the picture there is even a beautiful star.
Color is not necessary in this abstract pattern, hence my choice for black and white.
Beautiful as for example wallpaper on the wall! A quiet spot in your room.
I see making art as a creative process.
The starting point of this process for me is always a photo or a painting of my own. Every work of art on this site is therefore based on a self-made photo or painting.
I find my sources of inspiration in everything around me...
