Abstract woman in pastel shades by Lauren Wilde

This abstract painting shows a woman who almost seems to merge into her surroundings. Her silhouette is clearly present but at the same time soft and vulnerable, as if she could dissolve into the space around her at any moment. The colours consist of a harmony of pastel shades such as light blue, soft pink, warm yellow and subtle shades of grey. These colours are layered with broad, visible brushstrokes, giving the work a vibrant yet calm look.

The style is loose and intuitive, not filling in everything literally. It is precisely the open spaces and blurs that allow the viewer to give meaning to the work themselves. The woman seems to be walking, but with no clear destination. This gives the painting a dreamy and almost poetic character. Light plays a major role: it seems as if the figure is surrounded by a soft glow, evoking a sense of hope and calm.

This work fits perfectly into a modern, bright interior where there is room for stillness and reflection. It appeals to people who like abstract art with emotion, and who like to be carried away by atmosphere rather than details. It is a painting that does not shout, but whispers, and for that very reason lingers long.
