"Abstraction in beige and taupe: Line play with droplets" is a macro photo of a water droplet hanging from a grass spike (lamprey grass). The colours in this photo give it a natural look. The light shades of brown (including beige and taupe) and the greyish-brown background partly ensure this. The natural (blurred) representation of the grass spikes also contributes to this. Natural tranquillity and simplicity. Because I chose a very small depth of field when taking this photo, only a few droplets / small pieces of spikes are in focus. The other parts blur the further they get from this focus point (plane), giving a great sense of depth to the work. In the background, you can see other sprigs of the spikes faintly in light grey-brown tones. In the foreground you can see (in the middle), for example, water droplets where the focus is. Behind them, it becomes increasingly blurred. Because of this vagueness of this work (and also because of the editing), the work comes across as almost painterly in the non-sharp areas. If you zoom in, you can get an impression. Association: tranquillity, zen, water, drop, nature, abstract, romantic, love, grass, domestic, brown tones, champagne colour, beautiful
