The Punkaharju headland is located in the lake district in Finland. The headland separates two lakes and is therefore traditionally an important connecting route.
The strip is about 7 kilometers long and overgrown with trees. In winter it is beautiful to see Punkaharju from the air with the vast white frozen lakes on either side.
