After the touch, the moment captures just after something has been touched - a key, a chair, a memory. The faded repetition of shapes is reminiscent of the echo of a sound still gently hanging in space. What remains is not the sound itself, but its vibration, captured in image.
The rhythmic, curving lines suggest a row of chairs or keys, but with no clear source or end. Everything is fluid, as if time stretches in layers. The monochrome use of colour enhances the contemplative atmosphere: subdued, hushed, almost elusive.
This work invites you to look silently. Not to understand what you see, but to feel what has been. As if listening to a sound you no longer hear, but can still feel in the air around you. An image of memory and absence, in which the tension is in what is no longer there.
A visual silence - exactly that which lingers, after the attack.
