About the artwork

From the air, the rugged and impressive landscape of the Icelandic highlands unfolds. This drone photo shows a vast area, where narrow glacial rivers make their way through the dark volcanic rock. A lonely road winds alongside the water, with a small car in the distance, barely visible but just enough to make the overwhelming scale of the landscape felt.

The weather was grey and overcast, adding a moody atmosphere that perfectly matched the raw aura of this place.

This shot is one of my favourite moments from Iceland. Everything was right: the emptiness, the soft light, the dramatic clouds and the grandeur of the landscape. Images like this fit completely into my style: calm, mysterious and natural. As a photographer, I am always looking for places where you can feel small for a moment. This place gave me that feeling, and I wanted to capture that in images.

The work is a powerful addition to a modern interior, especially in spaces where tranquillity, depth and nature are allowed to prevail. Ideal for lovers of Iceland, drone photography and mysterious landscapes.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
