About "Amsterdam, the painted skyline"

About the artwork

A fun, colourful and broad work in which we see the skyline of Amsterdam with its many beautiful canal houses, boats and canals with a semi-cloudy sky above it with the sun where the Amsterdam logo overlooks the entire work.
As can be seen, this is an artistic skyline and not a realistic one. Especially in the sky and the water, I left a lot of paint drips so this adds an extra detail and also a bit of symbolism for the many rainy Dutch days. If you study the background closely, you will see a texture that makes this work lend itself very nicely to being printed large on aluminium or photo print. Whatever material you choose, I think the professionals at Werk aan de Muur are sure to produce a beautiful result.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
