Rouvrou is a hamlet in the town of Ménil-Hubert-sur-Orne where the Rouvre, a tributary of the Orne, makes a spectacular meander shortly after the famous Roches d'Oëtre. This area used to be known for its tannery. The landing stage served to transport the skins up and down the Rouvre river.
