About ‘Antwerp 1950s’ by Timeview Vintage Images

A lively street view of Antwerp. We are on the Meir Bridge, which passes into the Shoenmarkt. Just before the right turn is the Boerentoren, which was the first skyscraper of Europe in 1931, with a height of 87 meters. During the Second World War the tower was severely damaged, but was then restored. In this picture it’s standing proud again. A beautiful monument in art deco style. The photographer chose a creative perspective, higher than street level. He probably is in an open car. The result is a beautiful view of this attractive street. Google Street View avant la lettre. In addition to cyclists and hikers, we also see a lot of traffic in the city. The car in the foreground is an Opel as we can see. (Collection Timeview, European Streetscenes, Antwerp / Anvers 1950s)

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
