Aqua Vortex – Alcohol Ink Art

by Joke Gorter

Bring the soothing depth and fascinating dynamism of water into your home with this exclusive abstract artwork. This piece has been created using fluid acrylic pouring techniques, resulting in spectacular layering, organic cellular structures and a fluid movement that immediately bring to mind a powerful ocean current or a tropical underwater world.
The vibrant palette of bright turquoise, cool ice blue and deep midnight blue creates a mysterious and soothing spectacle on the wall. Thanks to the mesmerising spiral shape and the countless delicate cellular patterns at the heart of the design, you’ll never tire of looking at it and will discover new organic forms time and time again.
Interior styling tip
This contemporary artwork is perfect as a soothing eye-catcher in a modern, minimalist or, conversely, a luxurious ‘Hotel Chic’ or ‘Maritime Luxury’ interior. The cool shades of blue create a serene, fresh and bright atmosphere.
• Styling tip: Stunning as a large-format piece above a sleek light-grey or white designer sofa, in the bedroom above the headboard, or as an inspiring statement piece in a modern office. Pair it with light oak furniture, concrete-look elements and silver or chrome accessories to further accentuate the bright blue tones.
• Material advice: For the ultimate sense of depth and maximum colour intensity, we recommend a print on glossy acrylic glass (plexiglass) or HD metal. This gives the artwork a breathtaking, gallery-worthy appearance and spectacularly enhances the fluid, glossy effect of the turquoise ink flows.
