Arches N.P. is one of the most beautiful national parks in the U.S. Nowhere else in the world do so many rocky arches occur as within the limits of this over 300 square km park. The largest part of the park is easy to visit via a 30 km long road along which there are various viewpoints and walks. To be able to see the most beautiful rocky arches you will have to walk. Walks ranging from 5 minutes to several hours will take you to the most beautiful places. A very nice area is the windows section. A number of short walks lead you through the, perhaps most beautiful, area of Arches N.P. Here you will find, among other things, the Turret Arch, a 20 metre high and 12 metre wide rock arch. On this picture I photographed Turret Arch through another rock arch, the north window. To find this I had to climb up a rock through the back of the north window to capture these 2 rocky arches in a picture.
